Good News: Swell Sanitaryware Launches China’s Longest Kiln Production Line

On November 29, 2017, Swell Sanitaryware held a grand ignition ceremony for China’s longest 148m energy-saving ceramic tunnel kiln production line at its Chongqing manufacturing base. The ceremony was attended by the company’s senior management team, including Chairman Tang Taiying, General Manager Tong Yonghua, and Deputy General Manager Wang Shiyou, marking a pivotal milestone in the brand’s manufacturing upgrading and expansion.

The official ignition took place at 10:18 a.m. Led by company executives, the core team lit the first fire of the brand-new 148m energy-saving ceramic tunnel kiln production line. All attendees witnessed this significant moment, blessing Swell Sanitaryware with booming development and everlasting vitality driven by upgraded manufacturing strength.

High-Investment Upgraded Production Line Officially Put Into Operation

This advanced 148m energy-saving ceramic tunnel kiln production line is imported from overseas and upgraded by Swell with a total investment of 20 million RMB, ranking as the longest ceramic kiln production line in China. Adopting high-performance lightweight thermal insulation refractory materials with high thermal resistance and low heat storage, and equipped with abundant refractory fiber for the kiln body and kiln car masonry, the line effectively reduces overall energy consumption.

Furthermore, it features a full stainless steel heat exchange system, which recycles waste heat from flue gas to dry kiln fronts and ceramic blanks. The heat exchange efficiency exceeds 60%, realizing efficient recycling of waste energy and achieving eco-friendly and low-carbon production.

Compared with traditional kiln equipment, the new 148m energy-saving ceramic tunnel kiln production line boasts simpler operation, higher safety and stability, and superior material and technical configuration. It raises the product qualification rate and overall production efficiency by 5% to 10%. With a unit energy consumption of only 1150Kcal/Kg, it saves 30% to 40% energy compared with conventional kiln lines, reaching the industry’s advanced energy-saving standard.

The official commissioning of the 148m energy-saving ceramic tunnel kiln production line greatly boosts Swell’s ceramic production capacity and core product competitiveness, delivering higher-quality and cost-effective sanitary products for global customers. This milestone not only inspires the team’s confidence but also further consolidates Swell’s leading position in China’s sanitary ware industry. It lays a solid foundation for the brand’s long-term vision of building a classic Chinese bathroom brand.
